will the swisco product code 58-171 work on m/w windows-single hung- vinyl window manfactured in 2001

I know the manufacturer of my windows. they are capitol Series 7500 series windows. The windows were installed in 2003. I am unsure about the sizing that i need. I think 58-171. Hi, The sliding window in my apartment needs new pile weather stripping, I think I can install the stuff myself. I took out a sample and size wise, the 9/32 x 9/32 58-022 matches what I am having. WHICH TO USE? PILE? BUBBLE SEAL? HOW DO YOU KNOW THE CORRECT SIZE WHEN THE FIN IS FLEXIBLE, NOT A RIGID PLASTIC? WINDOWS ARE NEW AND WE CAN SEE DAYLIGHT THRU THE WEATHERSTRIPPING. ADJUSTING WINDOWS / TIGHTENING WINDOWS ARE NOT AN OPTION. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

While resealing my windows I ran into some dry-rot snap in glazing. I'd like to match the replacement snap-in to the existing strips. The existing snap in is gray. Is the vinyl/plastic material paintable? Can you provide in suggestions on type of paint? Thanks. Jim
