double coil springs and pivot lock and tilt latches

Question

I need to purchase double coil springs and pivot lock shoes and tilt latch as pictured. The window sashes weigh 22.3lbs. Ea. Replacement parts are for a Simenton double hung window. Can you help me?

The balance shoe you have is the 15-199 Pivot Shoe. Take a look over the dimensions to confirm that this is the right replacement.

It is compatible with either the 1/2" thick Series 160 or 3/8" thick Series 165 Coil Balances. You'll need to confirm the width of your shoe to confirm the correct springs for your repairs. The series will determine the spring strength you'll need to choose.

For the Series 160, you can use 4 of the S160-05, which can support 5.5lbs. The compatible cover is the 15-150D Coil Double Support.
For the Series 165, you can use 2 S165-5 (supports exactly 5lbs) and 2 S165-6 (supports exactly 6lbs); once of each to complete an assembly. The compatible cover is the 15-204 Coil Dual Support.

The tilt latches can likely be replaced with the 26-243 and 26-244 Tilt Window Latches. Carefully look over the diagrams below to confirm that these are the right fit for the sash.
