The articulated part attaches to the window crank "nub". When in place, a long aluminum pole (approx 9' long) with a hook on the end is used to connect and turn the part. We have a long reach across our 2nd story handrail to our awning windows made my Jeld-Wen. I am hoping the universal joint, ring, pole crank with hook will be the solution. Am I able to return the parts if they do not fit?

Hello, I have a Ventarama domed skylight which has a splined hook attached to the skylight side rather than the pole side to open and close the skylight. It looks very similar to your 39-214 metal hook. The best/closest measurement I can get for the spline is 10/32" Do you have a listing for a "V ... (cont.)

I can't see any brand anywhere on the thing, but it has a place for a splined attachment to be connected. I would like to purchase an eyelet adapter, but I'm not sure of the size of the spline part. It looks to me like there might be more than one standard size for these things, 11/32 and something ... (cont.)
