40-028 In-Swinging Door Handle Set, 1-3/4"

I purchased an older home (1970) with what appears to be an older aluminum screen door. The handle has broken and needs replacement. I cannot locate any markings on either the door or the handle. Could you help identify the handle and a possible replacement? Thank you -- Scott

The Handle just flops down, it won't stay on place, so the door won't latch.

I recently purchased a Larson Pembrook aluminum screen door from Lowe's. I want it to be an inswing door that will be mounted to the existing 4x6 treated post of the screen porch. Do you carry the mounting hardware and handle set to accommodate such?

I purchased previously # 41- 028 door handle for inswing screen door in white. It was a handle which had a simple push up button to secure the door. The handle shown is black and has no lock feature. What should I do?

By my measurements, I think i need a 40-028 in white. My inside handle is broken and the lock is broken. The measurements for screws on 40-028 match perfectly. Style looks different tho. Can you suggest a replacement for me?

Hi Swisco! Here are my front and rear screendoor sets. The front now has a broken spring, and I've replaced the back door's spring several times. Think its time for some new hardware. My strike latch sring is not pushing the latch out and the assembly needs to be replaced. I don't see any replacement ones that look like mine. I believe the door is a25 year old Guardian that swings inward when opening. Inside mount,inside swing storm door
