40-028 In-Swinging Door Handle Set, 1-3/4"

I ordered the wrong hardware for this inswing door! I want a locket that when it closes the door will be held in place by either a strike or a deadbolt so when the wind comes it won't blow open.

Spring inside is broken and can't be replaced. Looking for new replacement equivalent

The lock is easy to slide while rotating the handle to leave the house. When that happens we are locked out. I purchased 2 storm doors from Harvey Windows and doors several years ago. The handles broke on the doors and they tell me the doors are discontinued and there are no more part replacements. They did provide one handle, but I need 1 more. What will it take to get another handle?

We purchased a standard storm door and needed to install as an in swing. We were able to flip everything around how we want it except the latch. Will the 40-028 latch seta solve this problem? The pictures show the inside where we need the latch to catch.
