the pella part number is 34495, but it includes a closer kit which I don't need. I only need the interior handle.

Is there a replacement cylinder keylock for the deadbolt portion of my storm door ? It's a round hole.

Hi, I'm looking for a keyed storm door lock, that has a 1/2" offset from the flat surface. Your item 40-039 is very close to what I need, but it has only a 1/4" offset. My storm door is 3/4" thick.

Attached are photos of a storm door lock (Sears?) I don't have a key and the cylinder doesn't seem to be accessible. Do you have a replacement cylinder (with instructions) or a compatible alternative keyed lock? Regards.

Storm Door Latch with Lock; Door is about 12 years old. There are NO markings that I can find. The springed Lock does not stay in open Position. Looking to replace the latch, but would like to find one with the same type of lock. Thanks

10 to 15 years ago, I purchased a storm door deadbolt which looked similar, except that the lock cylinder matched a kwikset lock. i need a replacement latch for the inside of an out-swinging storm door. should be easy, right? nope! my latch has a rod between the outside handle and the inside latch. none of the universal latches i've seen can accommodate the rod system. About the 40-039 lock ...apparently one must make a hole in the wooden jamb to accept the bolt. Isn't this a wear'n'tear problem against a tiny slotted hole in the wood? The spring that holds the handle horizontal is broken and the handle flops to vertical. Two sheet metal screws hold the spring box to the door. I'm looking for the spring box.

I'm trying to find a replacement for an existing lock. When lock #40-039 is installed on a door how far off the door's surface is the bolt? That is to say: is the bolt flush with the door's surface, .25" up off the surface, etc. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

will the 40-039 lock install on a solid vinyl screen door ??
