ITEM #40-145 IS WHAT I NEED BUT THE SQUARE BOLT HAS TO BE 5/16". DO YOU HAVE THE LATCH WITH THE 5/16" SQUARE BOLT?

Will this fit Larson prod registration number 023331u.221010710 - part no. 202348x1 inside latch assembly?

We have an 18-year old Larson storm door (reg. # 024132U231970904). The doorknob has never worked really well, but it gets worse and worse. We have to keep turning the doorknob back and forth (clockwise then counterclockwise). Finally it will open. The inside latch works fine, except the action gets ... (cont.)

Presently the Cmech handle I have is white and the knob on the other side will only accommodate a 1/4 spindle. Part Number on Box: 24044. Originally purchased the handle in 2007 from AluminArt.

I have a swing handle on a storm door and I need to replace the inside latch. It looks like the 40-145 would be the one but it does not lock. Would the 40-117 do the job as it does have a lock? Thanks for your help.
