I have contacted you before on this issue where the latch was not springing back in place. You suggested the 40-150 handle as a replacement. The only ID on our screen/storm door is "LGR" on the pneumatic door closer. The original lock of this outward-swinging door can be locked from the inside only. I hope that you can see this handle. I have these parts at my house, but these are off my son's home. I installed this storm door some years ago. The big outside handle I can wiggle it off, thus I think I should probably replace the whole handle, but that is your call. We do not need a key lock a ... (cont.)

The interior handle opens by pushing out and also by pushing down. The spring tension when you push out is gone. this allows the handle to not be latched.

I need a replacement latch like 40-117, but need to know the opening size where the spindle fits into. I need 0.25 inch.

Have ordered the 40-150 and then I wondered if this latch will work with a round knob as opposed to a push knob button or a level. I need the inside latch for a storm door. The original door has an Andersen part # 306011, but I only need the inside latch, not the dead bolt assembly or the outside knob. Storm door is 1 1/2 inch thick.
