anderson emco forever view door, need flat screen spline. The frame doesnt have a lip. Serial number of door is A-971762 please help. Width of flat spline openning is appx 7/16" but does not have a lip.

Hi there- I was referred to you Quality Screen in Dallas as I have old screen sliders and my spline is no longer made as it 3/8" or 380mm flat spline. I am looking for the spline to a screen door that resembles a forever door. I can not find the door manufacturer but was purchased at Home Depot. The channel is 5/16" wide and the old rigid spline was 13/32" in total width. I need 12 feet of material. What material do you have for this project? See ... (cont.)

I Have a EMCO Forever View Storm Door with a Flat Screen Spline which measures 13/32" wide. I was wondering 2 things 1)that when replacing the screen, can the spline be saved and reused? 2) is the tool 75-019 used for that application? Please advise

I am having a very difficult time trying to install the rigid screen spline. The spline goes in easily without the screen but with the screening it's not staying secure. I've followed the video but it is not working for me. Please help. Thank you Diane

I purchased 45-036R screen mesh and 55-109 spline. Extremely difficult to installed the screen. Screen is loose and unhappy with the results of both screens.

Who knew replacing a screen would be so difficult! Hardware stores do not stock the rigid spline used on Anderson Forever doors. I'd like to order some from Swisco but want to be sure I am buying the right stuff. Installed, the visible portion of the spline on my door measures 5/16". Do all Fore ... (cont.)

Your 55 109 spline material fits my Emco Forever Door that is about 20 years old. In watching the video it says to use fiberglass screen as a replacement screen material. Is this an absolute or can you use aluminum screening I believe they are both .011 thick. Thanks
