The crank only opens the window an inch, then it "wheels" into emptiness as if it wasn't latching onto the mechanism. truth hardware anderberg mfg

Window screen glass clips

Our clips are starting to break off of our attached window screen to the door. Attached in the picture of what the clip looks like. PPG Herculite K Trempe Tempered CAN/CQSB12.1M RS 6205-1981-A I think that information is correct.

How do I use your product 70-034, for example, to hold a glass storm panel securely to an uninsulated wooden entrance door with single pane glass. 1. is your 70-034 threaded inside hole? 2. does one simply use a wood screw through the hole in 70-034 and into the door while positioning the offset p ... Needed for securing aluminum frames for screening to porch enclosure. Bought some years ago at local hardware store and put them at the top and bottom of the frames, but need to acquire some more to put on the sides and cannot find them.

Need new regulators, cranks, screen holders. This is from a 1955 house with metal window frames.

It appears these retainers are (or were) available in different post lengths to accommodate different glass/screen frame thicknesses.

The clasp holding the glass pane onto our storm door is plastic , with I believe a 70-072 hopefully. I'm sending 2 pics along anyway. But is there one made out of metal, the original ones seem to break yearly. Many Thanks and a Happy New Year, Ed

Storm door sling glass with both top fixed clips that are broken.

I am looking for screws to fit the metal 5/16 offset clip (product code 70-034). Would product code 70-112 screws fit these clips? Thanks

I have Ware windows on a mid 1960s home that I just purchased. I have included a picture and hoping you can help identify the part required to replace. Greetings. I am looking for a part the same size and shape as your part # 70-114. The difference is the screw end has a 1/2" barrel extension that secures a glass panel to the security door frame. Thanks for your help. Marcia

Does the 70-112 thumb screw fit all of your flush clips and offset clips. I am interested in the 1/8 and other metal offset clips. Is the hole diameter 3/16 on all of these clips? Hi; Re; Plastic retainer clip 70-205, Would this be suitable to stand up in winter weather on the outside of house ? My octagon window has an outside storm window pane that had six tin metal clips similar to 70-205 that held the storm window glass in place. Do you think these might freeze and crack ... (cont.)
