I found a handle that fits the door (your Legacy Keyed Handle Set 3-15/16" (1-1/8" to 2-1/2") but it does not have the lock, or that little hook that comes out and hooks to that little piece on the doorframe. can you advise as to what handle and lock will work for this door(I have looked around the ... I have this door on a home i just purchased which won't allow egress because there is bo way to lock the door. In the process of repairing this would it be possible to upgrade the locking mechanism.

I would like to replace this door handle with a keyed lock. It does not lock from the outside and we need it to do that. The door was installed in the 80's do you have anything that would work to do that.

I have a door with the same lock mechanism, but the lock mechanism just spins as the door is wider than the lock is long. Looks like you are out of locks for 1.5" doors. My door is 1.25" thick. How wide of door will this mechanism support?
