Just trying to make sure I have the right part. This is an internal lock on a sliding patio door the patent number is 919213 Canadian and it looks like it should be 82-225. I'm just looking to confirm this before I purchase it. Thank you in advance. John

Canadian Patent #919213 patented 1973.

The 82-225 photo is not the same as the lock patent 919213. I would like to try if it works. Please show me how to replace it. My first problem is how to remove the old lock internal components, please see the photos. Many thanks.

I am attempting to replace a Sliding glass door handle set. This handle has a internal hook that is farther from where it is secured to the panel than standard handles. I attempted to replace it with a Prime-line C 1001 - Patio Door Surface with Hook Latch but the Prime-Line handles hook would not l ... (cont.)

My sliding glass door to my deck has a lock that is very loose, so that when I close the door from outside, it often locks me out. I need to replace at least the lock mechanism (Patent No 3,596,954), and maybe the entire handle/lock.

Hi, Please see attached pics. The existing door handle is from Citation Doors this number is printed on the inside 919213 Patent 1973 (see attached photo). Everything looks identical to your lock except the outside measurement of the lock body itself measures 1/2 inch. the face plate of the lock assembly body measures 3/4 th inch. the measurement for the screw mounting holes is right on at 3 9/16thDoes this seem ok for my use?
