84-024 Screen Door Roller Assembly, Nylon Wheel

Your 84-024 looks to be perfect match for my sliding screen doors including the "70-1" stamped number. But, my sliding screen doors have the same spring-loaded assemblies on the bottom AND on the top. Does this make sense? My sliding screen doors (and the wood framed glass doors) were made by Eag ... No other distinguishing aspects. At least 18 years old!

Only identification on door is Guardian glass 70-1, patent pending only numbers,etc.

Please help. Cannot locate replacements for my patio door screen.

I tried to submit this earlier with six photos but received an error message. The markings on the rollers is 70-1 Pat. Pend. The screen door channel the roller fits in is 3/8" or 10mm.

I can't find this roller system with a 7/8" roller. Swisco has something similar with a 1" roller, but that simply won't work. I need 7/8". Do you have anything?

I have been trying to find a good match to my screen door's rollers but have been unable to. I have gone to Home Depot and Lowes trying to find a generic roller but none fit the door and will work with it. On line hunting has been fruitless as of now. I am seeking 4 patio screen door rollers for 2 mid 1970's doors. I have attached 2 photos of one of the rollers. The measurement across the roller body is just shy of 2.25". Attached is a picture of the bottom roller from my screen door. Will your 84-024 work? Dimensions are 2 1/2" hole, 1/12 height of the metal of the bottom of the screen door, 3/8 interior diameter of the hole. The roller has to be attached by a screw up from the bottom into a hole in a tab, not ... (cont.)

I'm trying to determine whether 84-024 is the proper replacement part. I believe the sliding screen was installed in 1987. The only writing on the part is 70-1 and it says patent pending.

From the picture the 84-024 assembly come with tension screw and cap and the screw to secure the roller to the screen door. I that correct?
