82-238 Double Hook Mortise Lock

I have an existing slider that doesn't lock, the latch doesn't even come out of the door. I did read online to adjust the latch by turning the adjustment screws, but that didn't do anything. My question is, how do I remove the handle and how do I know if I need a new one? Also, the pics show the lev ... (cont.)

The lock has broken and I handle broke too I cannot put a key in it and the Windsor sliding door do they not have any pots so if you guys can replace it with something that's compatible would appreciate it if you could get back to us thank you

I was hoping these parts would work but they are not. The double hook mortise lock looks just like the one I am replacing that is defective, but the release tab is not hitting the striker plate properly to allow the lock lever to move, so I can't lock the door.
