I think they are better bilt windows aluminum frame

The body of the plastic latch is 2 5/16" long without the extended spring loaded prong. Each window has a right and left hand latch. The latch has a tab that inserts into a channel at the corner of the window frame to retain the latch and prevent rotation of the latch. I can't find identifying marks ... (cont.)

Hello, I am trying to find the correct replacement latches for my tilt windows. The manufacturer was Le-Al-Co and they are no longer in business. The latch is surface-mounted, and measures 21/8 X 3/4 inches. I have attached a couple of photos. Thanks much, Vanessa

The item is approximately .75in wide x 2.25 in long, spring latch. Item seems to be made of plastic. The one in photo is whole and functioning fine. I need to replace a broken one on a different window. Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe this is called a tilt latch. The part is for a MI 3740 window. I need four of these if possible.

I am sure this is the proper replacement part.....having trouble unloosening the side screw. Top screw is easy. Any hints on loosening that up aside fomr WD40?
