i am looking for sash latches for american craftsman windows they appear to look like 26-408 but are shorter in length. approximately 2 3/4 inches in length. any suggestions???

I need to replace both lower sash tilt latches. These are 5 yr old WindowWorld 4000 series. Does this product or the 26-266/267 fit the WW window.Chuck

I purchased from you item 26-408 but they do not fit my window. I have attached 2 pictures, one with measurements to help you find the correct latch. The problem with 26-408 is the back of the latch where it resets into the window as it is too long (2 1/8.) Thanks John

I am looking for what I believe is called a "finger latch". The lower sash of the window can be tilted in for cleaning by manually pulling in these latches at both upper corners of the sash. This releases the top of the sash from the tracks at the sides of the window. The window is an 8500 Seri ... (cont.)

Do the wings in the 26-266 and 26-267 bend up slightly for installation? My windows require installation from the top. You would install from the top cut out and slide to click in. Thank you.
