Can these be replaced just from a model number? It's a model 5900 single hung window.

I ordered the wrong part for old Temco vinyl double hung replacement window tilt sash lock. Order #3093071, item #26-442. Which turns out to be metal not plastic and is the wrong style. Hi, I'm trying to replace a broken part in my window. I think it's called a 'sash guide' but could be incorrect. These are wooden windows, don't tilt, and this piece is what keeps the window from falling out of the frame, allowing it to slide up and down.
