I need to replace some plastic hopper window latches, and wanted to go with metal instead of the cheap plastic, as the plastic ones keep breaking. Can you tell me the thickness of the striker end of this lock? It looks like it would work with my existing keepers, but I want to be sure. Or... is ... (cont.)

Does the White Cam Handle lock com in Left and right handed. The handle length on these are what we need but we need two for each window. One left and one right
