Door foot Latch for sliding doors

Hello, I'm looking for an Acorn security lock for the patio door. One photo shows the missing/broken lock and the other photo shows the part I'm looking for. Thank you for your time!

I would like to add a secondary lock to an old slide glass patio door (see picture). Would Secondary Patio Door Lock, Wingless (82-051) be viable for this door in conjunction with the 82-054 Secondary Patio Door Lock Limiter? I want to be able to secure my sliding glass door that slides on the outside while leaving it ajar at night during the summer when it's hot. What would you suggest?
