I do not see any sash locks online that match this type. The upper sash portion has screws entering horizontally into the sash, and the piece is mortised into the sash. I need a set, or two complete locks (sweep and latch).

My casement window operator was having a hard time opening and closing. When I unscrewed it from the window frame, I noticed some of the teeth on the gear had worn away. I was raising my Alenco window and a spring, I guess the balancing spring, dropped out. It looks like it is not broken at either end, but I am at a loss on how to re-install it. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Hello - I damaged the old pivot shoe and need to purchase and install a new one. How do I get it inside the channel? I found the guide about installing the balance for the tilting window but it didn't cover installing the pivot shoe.

looking through the balance shoes, i think the 15-177 is the best design match. it calls out the series 152 tape coil. the tape is 1/2" wide. how do i find the weight rating on the tape? shoe is 9/16" deep, 1 1/4" wide, but only 1 3/8" tall instead of 1 1/2" tall. let me know if there is a better ...
