Hi window will not close fully and realized the separation of the arm. Unscrewed the small white part from the frame and believe the metal piece that typically connect it to the arm is broken.

The dimensions are correct, except my old one is 7 inches long. Do you think this one will still work or do you know if there is a different number than 40-197, for this part?Thanks in advance.

There seem to be two parts to the shoe. there is a box labeled #16 and a black band cord that seems to be connected to it. The part seems to have snapped apart on one side but remains connected on the other. I'm happy to provide more information or pictures.
