I'm trying to find a replacement channel balance used in an Alpine window. Printed on the balance is 27 4 CALDWELL BM. The metal piece looks to be 28 inches long. Any ideas?

I have 25 year old Alpine windows. The broken balance is marked 26 4 CALDWELL FM. I've determined that I need the 26" Series 385 balance. Do I weigh the sash and divide by two in order to determine the correct weight range? Thank you,George

There are three of these pieces for each casement window. It holds the the metal bar that helps regulates the opening and closing of the window.
