Hello! These clips secure the aluminum frame insert to the frame of the window itself. They slide over the end of the aluminum insert frame, the flange (which is broken in the pic) snaps into the edge of the window frame to hold the insert in place. Hopefully this makes sense. Older double hung windows are difficult to open AND close. SPIRAL: 22" × 5/8" balances. Blue Dot.

One channel balance needed. the stamped numbers on the back reads "329", "BLI" and "34", all seperated by space in between. Metal to metal is 33".
