When I was making alum & vinyl windows and doors years ago (when vinyl welding was just a "twinkle") we used to call "wool pile" weatherstripping by its generic name... not "fuzzy stuff"... It was even purchased by that name... And the groove in the frame member thru which it was slid was called the ... (cont.)

I've been unable to find replacement kerf weatherstripping for my door - the size is the problem - it is about 3/4 inch in diameter, as shown in the picture.

I am looking for this profile,the Anderson bubble looks close but I'm not sure it would work. I have no idea of the make of window,there is no name emblem anywhere.

I recently pulled some white wool pile weatherstripping off a Patriot 1800 series window and need replacement. Tried to measure the base (measured 3/16) and height (from base to height of wool, seems 7/16). None of your options match this, and the plastic base is not flat but is concave with two " ... I currently have a 1" x 84" kerf style weather compression strip for my entry door. It isn't thick enough to properly seal the door. Do you have a thicker dimension, perhaps a 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" kerf style compression weather strip to replace it with? larry

I have casement windows I'm not sure what brand it says truth on the hardware. I would like to replace the bad weather stripping and don't see an exact match on your website. Need felt seal for doors

Where the wool pile meets in my windows meets a 90 degree angle, is there a special tool needed to replace the wool pile?

the T on this vinyl bulb seal slides in a slot on the bottom of the window.when shut it the bulb seals the window. The t is an 1/4 inch please advise if you need additional information. I am at the point of installing any alternative that will work.
