just the lock cylinder

we need the replacement locking part for our sliding patio door. Measures 3 1/4in from the knob to the end, or 2 3/4in excluding the knob. The width is 1 1/4in. There are no markings and the door is almost 30 years old. Any help would be appreciated.. Loretta

40-089 looks identical to mine, even the thumbkey, though mine measures 1'16" x 2'1/4". I don't believe the 3/32" shorter cylinder would matter, as my door is only 1'1/4" thick, but want to make sure I'm not mistaken. Thank you.

I have a larson storm door it is an older model. The mortise lock 40-183 set looks just like the one I have Infact,the key tumbler thumbturn 40-089 is the same.Do you have lock sets that fit larson doors. Also I do not have any numbers to send.

Will the 40-089 fit in the old cylinder hole in the original Pado mortise lock set? I lost the keys to a set of storm doors and this seems to be a good way to replace just the lock instead of buying a new mortise set. What are your thoughts?

I thumb turn lock 40-089. I tried to install it in my door and the lock does not fit. The one sent is rounded on the top and bottom. The one needed is flat on the top and bottom. HI will the 40-049 replace the papaiz lock it looks the same except the papaiz has a key for the out side and in side the lock i have is about 15 to 20 years old what is the differance between the 40-049 and the 40-089
