15-104 Caradco Friction Shoe

Bottom of spring hangs on hook at top of this part. Hook has broken off.

I have older tilt-in windows with exposed spiral balances in a jamb liner. The springs are worn out and the windows won’t stay up. I need replacement spiral balances. Do you have any? Thank you

I have broken ballast parts for MW double hung tilt windows. I would need a replacement spring, a tilt pivot, and the plastic shoe that the pivot engages. Do you have any applicable parts? Alternatively, is there an entire sash replacement that works with these windows?

I took a chance and ordered your 15-104. I may need some insight as to how to remove the white balance covers or whatever they are that the sash slides on. They seem to be made out of vinyl and I do not want to crack them or damaged them since they allow the window to operate. So when I receive the ... (cont.)

...a friction shoe for my wood windows. I think it was a cardaco window, and I see that in other posts you've suggested a 15-104 friction shoe, however it looks like it is a little different on the top and i don't know if the back side fits on the same track or not.

I see no numbers or information about the window manufacturer. I can see that the bottom of the plastic window piece, that has the spring attached at the top, has broken off. If you don't have exact replacement tracks are there any other alternatives? This is for windows in a cabin that is only heat ... (cont.)

They are plastic. They are likely to break if I remove them.

Maybe need the whole inside clad assembly??

2 3/8" long, 1/2" wide, 5/8" thick. The photo is a broken one, the ledge that the window pin sits on is broken off.

What's the easiest way to replace this friction shoe inside the track? Thanks!

These are for Caradco windows. The window pins sit in them and attach to the jamb liner. I just call them window carriers. They attach to a spring. Thanks. Ill need 10 of them.

Windows fall when opened. Need the springs and prices that attach the springs to the sashes for 6 windows.

Our Hurd Millwork windows have broken balance assemblies. Can you advise on just inserting a new spring and slide or if the entire side window assembly needs to be replaced. Do you have parts available for either option. The home was built in 2001.

This plastic piece's hole is broken. Also attached picture how it supposed to look in the window track

The windows with these coils are no longer staying up. I am trying to find a replacement or an alternative that can fit in the slots for the existing windows window. The length of the whole piece is 59.5 inches, the width is 3.5 inches and it is 3/4 inch deep. Thank you

The balance in my existing windows do not resemble anything on your website. It appears to consist of a spring that is attached to a clip that is directly embedded into the window jam and a plastic shoe at the other end of the spring. This piece mounted to the bottom of a spring is supposed to be connected to the bottom of the window with a post going through that hole, but the piece is broken at the bottom, so the post slipped right through and the spring retracted entirely.
