Hello, the size fits the handle but the inner spindle box is too small. I believe mine is almost 1/4-1/2. So you have the proper size? This is for a storm door that was purchased at Home Depot around 20 years ago.

I got this 40-145 to replace my old door handle and i can't get the spindle out of the old one. It seems to be bolted in with some odd shaped screw. At any rate, i think it's too big. Do you sell spindles to go with the latches?

inside latch doesn't spring back and forth need fix part or inside?

The only number I can find is 12199696060 34, which is on the door. The current handle (inside) came apart. I have not tried to take it off the door yet. Not sure if I need a replacement door handle. Ozzie
