55-161 6' Snap-In Glazing

Looking for a company with hard to find and easy to find parts .

Gatco window plastic channel around inside of windows all are cracked brittle and broken.

Can you identify please. It is brown/bronze. the long side fits down in the track next to glass and top makes flat surface. There are no markings on it that I can find. thanks.

house built in 1988 with gapco windows. windows fine but the snap in glazing is brittle and has broken on several. we measured 3/8 inch by 7/16 inch (plus the part that snaps into the groove) Will Swisco part 55-161 fit our windows?

The glazing in my alenco window looks like 55-161-3 except the small leg on my glazing is 3/16 not 3/8. I am thinking I may have the 55-174 but there is not a dimension for the short leg shown. any chance its 3/16. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I have an aluminum Alenco bathroom window, which was installed when I built my home in 1990. The existing bronze glazing beads are 1/2" wide. I've just had the glass replaced with frosted glass. All of the windows in our house have cracked gazing on the bottom of the windows. The glazing is very brittle and when we try to remove it is take a picture the glazing just breaks off. This window is a General aluminum non-tilt window with spiral balancers. There is no way to remove the sash from the frame. How do I replace the spiral-balance in a window like this? On the bottom of the sash there is no obvious shoe to attach the balancer to. Please offer some guidance... ... (cont.)
