The bottom seal appears to be kerf style weatherstripping (~1/4" kerf insert), the sash to sash seal and top seal appear to be a kerf style bulb type. Have two entry doors that need new weatherstripping all the way around. Photos included. Need under the door strips with a c-shape profile. I'm looking for a part for a window ? these are window seals that fit into the lower part of the upper window in a 2-window arrangement. See the picture below. The seal fits into a slot in the wood frame in the upper window. The problem: The installer painted the metal plate, which is on the ... (cont.)

It has been very hard to find replacements for this pile weatherstripping. We don't mind replacing it with something else that would serve the same purpose, but would love to keep air from coming in the between part of the sliding door. Thanks for your help!

How soft is the kerf part? Is it difficult to push kerf into window groove? Do you recommend using any installation tool that will not tear or cut the bubble seal?
