I've ordered two foot locks one for older patio door it talks about mounting on floor can I mount on top. I also have a screen door On my camping Trailer want to mount on screen door any thoughts.

Our patio doors slide from the outside and can easily be pulled up and out. I saw the response regarding the latches and the cross bar. What do you recommend so it can't be pulled up? Screws in the top? Thank you!
