My sliding doors are 8 ft wide (96 in). I need a new bottom track but it doesn't seem to come in this length. Could I use two 48 in tracks as well? Thank you.

What prep would be needed to utilize the track cover on this track? It would easily snap onto the sections that are not damaged but half the track is bumpy like this. Would the areas that are lower need to be built up?

I have a customer whose lower track broke through and the door wheel now gets stuck and requires her to lift the handle in order to get the wheel past the broken part of the track. Hello, I am looking for a SGD track for a Warnock Hersey series 870. I have found close to what I need at other retailers but the closest match i see too high from the bottom to top of rail at 7/8". Looks like I'll need the small 6' Sliding Door Track Cover. But our door has twice the travel length, because it is designed to fully open into a recess in the frame. So I'll need about 8 feet. Can I just buy two pieces and cut the second one to meet up with the first?
