Hi, I need to replace a pair of coil balances/pivot shoes as shown in the pictures. spring is marked 730x. Window is a american craftsman silverline model 8500. 28x58" the pivot shoe has a handwritten "7" on the back side. The window sash weighs approximately 11 pounds. Please advise what part n ... Coil springs in no-name vinyl window stopped working; window won't stay up. They are visible ouside of the enclosure on both sides, unlike other working widows in the house. Need a replacment for the sash guide. markings on the piece are: PAT: 5.353.548 on the window guide that the metal rod goes into has the number 2 on it. The left coil spring has 8 FE stamped on it, and the window balance has 8L on it. So I would need both coil springs and window balance for both sides.

There is a hook where two spring is attached and is under constant tension . The number on these two balance is 6 and 5 on each side of window. I do not see a part # but I found a couple #'s on the broken springs. One shows a 5 the other shows a 6. I am looking for the entire part including the housing and tilt mechanism. Thanx for this site!

Window is 43: x 60" Looking to relpace broken spring

I ordered Coil housing pivot, tandem coil housing and two new coils. My question is how to align up both coils (since one is stacked above the other) so that both of the hols in the coils can be secured in the frame via those holes. I have a window where both coil balances assemblies are broken. One of the mounting brackets are missing and both tilt latches are not functional. The only number I see on the removable coil is JD8 and see PAT 5,353,548.

Need this parts for I can assemble my window. Can't wait to hear back from you guys.
