15-087 Coil Housing Pivot

These windows were purchased from Home Depot in about 2012. Window balancer is stacked (refer to picture) each stacked balancer has a 6 printed on it the bottom balancer is longer than the top balancer. Balancer seems to be 2 1/16 wide about 3 7/8 tall.

I cannot figure out how to release the sash from the balance. Can you provide instructions? I've watched several of your videos, but none apply to this type.

What part is this? Both of the pivot shoes are like this and the window slams shut when you open it? How do you replace. Thank you!

I have included the pictures of the current window balance spring and shoe. I need both the left and right side replacement springs for this window. The spring number is 6JK, so 6 pound springs? Attached is the window size. Thank you, Kevin

I need 4 of these. Not sure if there is a left and a right, but I need 2 left and 2 right. The only marking I can make out is a #7 on the pivot shoe and part of a Patent number. It looks like the coil spring broke away from the pivot shoe,

The window weighs 13.5 lbs. Both coils damaged just purchased and replaced in July. One snapped One bent. Please advise?

The window will not stay up. Opened the window and tilted in and on the left side very bottom of the window jam was broken plastic. looked at the right side and is in one piece. I am looking to replace two coil spring balances on a window that is 24 1/2 x 36 and three-quarter tilt in double hung. The sash size is 22 1/2 x 18".
