Right side of window has a coil system. Window won't open unless I use tilting function, tip window out and then move it and replace tilting lock. Won't stay open on it's own sometimes and doesn't glide smoothly. Makes a cracking sound when I close it. Left side of window seems ok. ... (cont.)

Attached is the OEM part from a very old Andersen window front tilt. My question is the following: will the swivel (light blue center) work with you replacement part?

Need to verify if this is a 7# balance spring. The marking looks more like a letter L than a 7 the spring appears to be 15/32" wide and the center of the hole spacing is 3/4" I do not see any markings on these windows to indicate manufacturer they are vinyl single hing tilt windows.The spring atta ... This sash balance is from a Anderson American Craftson window purchased at Home Depo. Can you provide the correct part numbers to order for the left and right side. Hi , Those balancers are 4 lbs .each , silver in color and 2 holes on mounting end .will also need screw and clips . Also will need 2 safety latches . Thankyou .

There is a number 9 on the plastic housing. The coil attaches to the white hardware in the picture. The dimensions are on the sketch. The sash weighs 16 lb. There is currently no cutout to remove the plastic hardware. Does the same hardware work on both sides of the window? Or are they right and ... (cont.)
