S770-29 29" Series 770 Balance

29 inches long, 1/2 inch deep and a 1/2 inch wide markings 2900 BSI LD

I have tilting windows. The sash support is 29 inches long and has a number stamped r C 2840 on the back. I assume I need a 770. When I tried to order I was told that I need to select Option 29A, 29B, etc. I could not find an explanation of the different options. What option do I need? ... (cont.)

I have what appears to be a Series 770 29" balance stamped 29C BSI KH where the BSI is vertically imprinted between the C and the letters KH. My channel depth is ~1/2" and width seems to be ~1.25" wide. I need 2 new bottom shoes. I did use screwdriver and turned black circular piece in Pictu ... (cont.)

I have a window balance marked 29B TSI AK that looks like your 770 series, but it is 9/16" depth insted of your 1/2". Will that be a problem? From your Discussions page discussions/stamp-2900-bsi-77-2647 the photo shows the spring length to be 13,1/2". Mine is 15,1/4". Will that be a problem? My sa ... (cont.)

The options listed for SWISCO series 795 are the numbers stamped on the original channel balances for this particular window balance system. The options indicate spring strength. To find out what option is needed remove the window sash and put it on a scale. Stamp option 29A will carry a window ... (cont.)
