15-180 Coil Balance Shoe

Hello I need to buy a replacement balance for an MI window- it's single hung. About 60" tall overall. I've attached photos of both the good side and the broken side. It's a 3500 series and the serial # is 121031376.1 Chris

The windows I'm working on are probably from the early 1980s. Our local window makers/installers don't carry parts for windows that old. Hoping you can suggest some adaptations. I'm willing to buy replacement shoes if necessary but reluctant to choose which ones since I lack knowledge. The cams on t ... (cont.)

We need to replace these parts on both sides of window. Our windows are MI 3500 series, sash is 34? wide and 29 1/4? height. Can you help identify these replacement parts?

This is photo of the coil balancer I want to replace. The "white" part of the balancer is 3/4 inch wide x 1 1/2 inch long. From the top of the white part to the center of the screw is 5/16 inch. Which balancer do you have that can replace this one? Thanks

I have a broken balance. The clip holding the coil is broken. I think your part # 15-186 Coil Balance Clip is the part I need. Can you confirm? Thanks, Marty

Don't know what this part is called and can't find it in the hardware stores...it's on a single hung window seems to be a coiled strip of metal that helps lift and hold window up.

Hello! I have a double hung window (Capitol 9555 series) cannot hold window. It looks the coil balance spring was broken. The number on the spring is "7". Could you tell which spring model I should buy? Thanks!

The windows opens fine but doesn`t stay up.I removed the sash and the cams lock in place.But when I put windows back on.The window doesn`t stay up.I would like to know if there is a suitable replacement for the cams in pictures I sent to you.

I don't see any manufacturer's name on the windows. I also don't see any stamping on the coils. The home was built by Ryan Homes. I would like to replace the coil balances in about five windows.
