Hello, I would like to purchase a replacement window latch. I believe it is a "sash vent stop", part 26-354. The patent no is 5553903. It is 2.25" x 1.25" x 0.25". There is a "B" and "6" on back side. Can you confirm this is the correct part? Thank you.

Replace snap in tilt latch

I am looking for a suitable replacement for this part. It looks most like your 26-474 vent stop but I wanted to be certain on the dimensions before I ordered 5 of them so I won't have to return them. Puchased windows from Sears in 2001 and the locking mechanism broke and fell out. The warranty info states they are Simonton Windows, but in contacting them, they said they did not do this window. I just need to replace the broken lock.

This is a part to a simonton window. It's the part that can be popped out to prevent the lower window from opening all the way. I think it's a security feature.

Keeps window from opening more than 2"

I have some older windows that are still doing well but many of the vent stops are sticky or broken. I would like to replace them. Attached is a photo of the part that was removed from the window and the window sticker. Is 26-354 the correct replacement for them?
