82-055 Acorn Sliding Door Handle Set, 3-1/2"

I ordered this replacement sliding glass door handle set from you in 2015. The metal just cracked and I need to reorder another replacement. I do not see this part number listed on your site can you advise a similar part number so I can order? Thank you Jim

The handle that's broken is 5-1/2" long, 1" wide. It is dark dark brown and is 3-1/2" in between the middle of the two screws that go into the door....

Attached is a photo of the handle in place. The second photo is the broken black plastic hardware that holds the handle.

Here's hoping that this one lone sticker can help identify our sliding door manufacturer so that we can then get parts for it - original to the 35 year old house, but there is only this one sticker to give us a clue. Thanks for any help!

I have an Acorn sliding door and am in need of a handle set. This door may be 40 years old. It has the 3-1/2" c-to-c attachment dimension. But the door is 1-1/2" thick. Will the 82-055 work with longer screws?

Sliding Glass Doors were manufactured by Acorn - Series 400 DorWal. The latch/lock on one door is broken and cannot be repaired. The welds holding the metal screw tubes to the outside latch failed, so it fell off. The inside latch is a replacement from the original latch and never seemed to fit ... (cont.)

Hello, The handle that fits my sliding glass door broke. The only information I can see on it is: 3 3/4" (if my measurement is correct) between the screw holes, the numbers 124 or I24 and L120. I'm looking for a replacement handle that matched the picture, white. I have no other info of the door besides the acorn Dorwal stamped on the handle.

We have moved into a 30 year old home which has a sliding door fitted with an Acorn DorWAL L-120 handle. This handle has broken.
