Hi the number on the back of the thumb latch I have is s2573553 I think the replacement part number I need is 82-043. I would like to replace the key and cylinder for the lock. Which one would work with the thumb latch?

Will 82-316 work for lock replacement on 200 series sliding door that was bought and installed in 1987. And, if it will, will the thumb latch need to be replaced in order to work with this keyed lock? Thank you.

Sliding door does not have a lock and would like to install one - Andersen. Some on else said it was part number L0282NEW-R-067 and would take over a month to get. Expensive also. Thanks for your help.
