Are these still available. Our house, built in 1957 has plastic glide locks. There is one metal one. Are they available in both materials, still. How much are they, if available?

Hi Tim. These old Push Bar operators are hard to come by now, but take a look at our 39-370, or perhaps our 39-268. Compare with your old parts and see if you think one of these might work for you.

The inside has stampted on it "1866 Curtis Pat No. 2736595 other Pat Pend" The house was built in 1959. I looked up the patent and it was issued to the American Hardware corp.
