84-225 Pella Retractable Patio Screen Door handle

Is there anyway to adjust the Screen Latch ? Mine is not broken but it is hard to operate, to the point that any visitor to my home can not get the door to function. I do not want to purchase a new latch as the old one is not broken at all. Please Advise.

I currently have a Pella Retractable Patio screen door with the same handle as your Product Code: 84-225, but it doesn't work properly. The piece appears to have part of it broke off? The additional photo shows handle it is used with. Part is for Pella sliding screen door installed in 2006

Is the 84-225 a replacement for the magnetic latch? I am looking for a more positive method of latching. A heavy breeze will now open the door. Thanks

The latch on my rolscreen door is very hard to unlatch. It takes so much side force to "click" I am afraid I will break it. Can this be adjusted? Or is there something I can check before ordering a replacement 84-225?

I went on the Pella website and did not see any latch set for a screen door (this is the hidden version of a screen door where the screen wraps around the central post when not in use) that resembles the one in the file attached. Can you help guide me to replacement parts? Jim San Diego ... (cont.)
