26-297 Pivot Bar, 2 1/4"

Hello, Could you please identify a suitable replacement for these pivot bars and shoes. If possible we'd prefer any replacement hardware be corrosion resistant (i.e. stainless or some type of polymer) as these windows are located beside a salt water sound. Thanks, Eric

I purchased pivot lock shoe 15-134 and pivot bar 26-040. When I tried to place the pivot bar into the lock shoe it did not fit. Could you recommend a lock shoe of similar dimensions that will accept the channel width of the 26-040 pivot bar. Thank you

I am looking to purchase replacement pivot locks for several Carefree brand vinyl windows. Hopefully the pictures we help to identify the part. These stamped pivot bars are only 2-1/4" long. I can find no brand markings on the windows themselves. I'd be comfortable finding a longer alternative and cutting them down, but there's a bit of a taper at one end that goes into the shoe, and I don't see anything like that on your site. It's 3/16 ... I have several 1999 CARE FREE windows that need replacement pivot pins as they have rusted out. Any idea where I might find something that could replace these? I could also replace the pivot shoe and use a matching pin if needed. Thanks!

Hello Attached are pictures of a pin from a single hung window from the bottom side of sash that push into the balance shoe. Can't seem to find this part anywhere. Hi, This is a picture of a vinyl double hung pivot bar I need. I don't know the make of the window. The bar is a channel shape. It is 2.1/4" long, 5/16" wide and 3/16" thick. I am repairing my tilt windows. Everything went fine except, the old pivot shoe bar is just a little too big for the 15-045 shoe. the old bar is 3" long - 15/16" wide - 1/8" high. I am thinking of new bars???

This is the part that protrudes from the window pane and connects it to the hanging hardware. The "rusty" section was screwed into the window and the non-rusty section was connected to the spring in the window frame. How to replace pivot shoe. It looks like there is no easy way with a tilt window system. I just ordered pivot bars from you item #26-297,thank you perfect. but i have more problems, The spiral balance keeps popping out of the shoe,can you help?
