We purchased Pivot Shoe 15-045. This pivot shoe was absolutely perfect for our windows... right height, width and thickness. But there is no way that our windows will fit in the pivot shoe. This is from a double hung tilt window that was installed in a home built in 1993 by Duggan Homes. It keeps the window open..and is from the side channel

Request 2 replacement shoes. Broken shoes is to the right side. Also, to tool used to turn the spinal.

As the shoes broke and left windows disconnected to balance shoes, they simply fell out, no screws have been seen. There are no major roads or trains within miles, so they didn't vibrate out. I think I see two parts here: the Swisco 91-003 spring and the 26-297 pivot bar. Does that look right? I'm not as sure about the finger slider or the latch. What are your ideas?

I bought the 26-297 pivot bar(order 758466), and now I need the screws to lock it into my sash. I need something that's going to bite into that metal. I have vinyl tilt windows.

I'm looking for the metal pivot "pins" that stick out from the lower sides of the moving windows themselves, and the things on top of the moving window that keep them in the track. It says Care Free on the lock, and has the spiral dampers.

Hello, Could you help me pick out the parts to rebuild my window counter balances? The manufactures CareFree is out of business and I would need the shoe, instructions on how to remove them, the balance spring loaded rod, the winding tool and installation instructions.

I am looking for a show comparable to the picture attached. I am using a 3/8" spiral balance. The dimensions of item #15-045 is identically to what I need but the pivot pin housing is different and the 15-405 style wont work with my pivot pins on the windows. We have 04 Care Free Windows that won't stay up. I want to replace all 8 spring balance rods (S900-29), I have 26-424 Pivot Shoes. We need to know what Pivot Shoe to use. I have attached a PDF with the measurements. Thank you, Ed

I know this part is broken but I don't have the other piece that broke off.

My daughter has a tilt window that the ends of the pivot bars have rusted away - to get an idea of what type of pivot bar it is, I tried to remove an adjacent window- I know how one is supposed to be able to remove the window - have looked at videos, etc - we move the window up about a foot, unlatch ... I have a number of windows with the sash pivot bar rusted and broken both inside the pivot lock shoes and worse, inside the bottom of the window. I can not get the pivot bar out of the window or the pivot lock shoes. I think the replacement part numbers are 26-040 for the pivot bar, and 15-045 for ... (cont.)
