Hi. I have Gapco windows in my house that was built in 1991. I have attached a picture of the piece I'm looking for. It in a fixed window with a metal frame to hold the window glass in place.

Looking to see if this is something that can be replaced. I have M/ I home this is from a large front room window. I have several cracked and broken up do to a dog jumping in the window.

house built in 1988 with gapco windows. windows fine but the snap in glazing is brittle and has broken on several. we measured 3/8 inch by 7/16 inch (plus the part that snaps into the groove) Will Swisco part 55-161 fit our windows?

I have looked on your site for this material, but was unable to find it. I am hoping you can direct me to a substitute, if not the actual glazing. Thank you in advance for your help with this project. Andrew B.

All of the windows in our house have cracked gazing on the bottom of the windows. The glazing is very brittle and when we try to remove it is take a picture the glazing just breaks off. This window is a General aluminum non-tilt window with spiral balancers. There is no way to remove the sash from the frame. How do I replace the spiral-balance in a window like this? On the bottom of the sash there is no obvious shoe to attach the balancer to. Please offer some guidance... ... (cont.)

Also have Alenco windows but the bottom sash does not have a tilt window latch. How can I take out the window so we can have the glass replaced? I could not find the mechanism to release the bottom sash or am I missing something?
