I have these old jalousie windows in a house under renovation build in 1950 (according to scarce records). It contains three types of windows 1) There are 6 36x50 windows each with 3 panes that are 32x14. 2) A bathroom windows with 1 pane. The window is 25x25.5 3) 1 kitchen window 36x25.5 with ... The window frame in the awning has a security latch on each side where a frame pin slides up into a latch to keep it from being forced out as the window closes tight. Each pane has one on each side. We have some old roll out windows. This is a working left hand part (noted with an L), I need a right hand. I don't have an idea of what to call it. Has marking 'pat no 299775' but looking up that patent didn't give me any info. Any help is appreciated!

Upon research it may be called a "vent latch", but unsure if this is the name. I have old aluminum awning window and as you crank it opens, and shuts but you can still push the window and it opens a little. I installed crank and it almost works. The arm on the broken crank is 2-3/4 inches from center of hole to center of hole. The 39-060 is 2-1/8 measured center hole to center of hole. Your detail shows 2-3/8 center to center. Is there a way to remove arm and replace with old longer arm? How do I ... (cont.)
