How do you remove and then install a Lever type operator?

I have been trying to figure out how to replace a broken 39-069 window lever operator for years and now the time really has come! How the heck do you remove the crazy thing? The one pictured is a working window but identical to the broken handled one I want to replace.

How do lock a lever operator?

with the 39-069 lever operator in the fully closed position, is the window essentially locked? or do you need an additional locking mechanism installed? thanks.

Awning Window crank mechanism

Hi, How do I measure the lever-awning operator to figure out the correct size to order? I think we have an older 39-070 type operator. Ours doesn't have the lock and the pivot point it visible. The pivot pin is worn out and therefore the window opens and closes poorly.

Window hardware questions

Can you help to identify the hinge and operator hardware in the attached photos? It appears that the hinges could be sprung because the gap between the window and jamb on the left side(outdoor view) is about 1/4" and the right side is up against the jamb. The handle broke off of my window crank. When you pull it, it should open the window and when you push it back, it should close. Do you have this part? I think I would need to replace the whole mechanism on the inside of the window.
