Product Description

This is a Series 159 stainless steel spring for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.

Individually, this coil balance can hold 11-1/2 pounds. This is added together with the other coils to support the whole weight of the sash.
The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old spring.
Measures 3/4" thick.
The maximum travel length is 40".
Designed to work with a pivot shoe (sold separately).
This coil balance spring is sold individually, not in sets.
Can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
Coil balances are also known as constant force window balances.

I need these type of coil balances. It seems to be (7/8") thick, 1 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" tall. I would need 7 sets (14 units). I would also like to get pins about 2 5/8" long and I would need 14 units. Please let me know if you can help me. My name is Helmer.

Levolor Balance

I have Levolor windows that were installed before we took ownership of the house over 10 years ago. While cleaning them this spring, I didn't seat one of the windows correctly after tilting and I broke the balance shoe. It's a double coil for window that's a little under 36" wide. I need a balancer assembly and a pivot bar for a Simonton double-hung sash. The balancer goes on the right side of the window facing it from inside the house, and the pivot bar goes on the left. the photos of the installed balancer are of the left one, as I had already removed the broken right side ...
