23" Keller Spiral Balance Assembly

Product Description
This is a Series 303 spiral balance for non-tilt single-hung aluminum windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash to allow the window to stay open when raised.
  • This balance has a 23” long metal tube with an internal rod that measures 26-5/8" in length.
  • Comes with an attached 15-010 bottom shoe.
  • The strength you need should be indicated as a color tip at the end of your old metal tube. If you do not see a color tip weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the chart below.
  • The tube measures 9/16" in diameter but it is considered 5/8" in the trade.
  • Can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
  • Used in windows manufactured by Keller.
  • Spiral window balances come fully lubricated and ready to be charged.

    Red 7 to 29 lbs
    *This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
Good Idea!
Balances are sold individually, however, it is a good idea to replace both window balances at the same time. Pairing a new balance with an old one would cause the new balance to wear out faster.
