Product Description

This is a Series 161 replacement constant force balance system for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.

This balance comes complete with a metal pivot cam, coil spring, and coil spring cover.
The spring is stainless steel and coated for low friction and corrosion resistance.
A pair of 6 lb assemblies will carry 11 to 12.99 lbs, (sold individually). The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old balance cartridge cover.

Please ID this part. these windows are vinyl double hung. Climate guard brand. The on the other side (no photo'd) is broken.

Window coil balance busted?

Hi there, this window became very difficult to open. I believe the coil balance busted on both sides? I've included label pics and I saw a 6lb mark on the shoe thing. Can you tell exactly what parts I need? Thanks!

Hello, I have several windows where that have problems with the hardware. 1) the 3" pins on the bottom of the sash have broken at the screw hole. 2) the metal slot that rotates has spread and broke. And 3) the plastic clips that hold the spring portion of the tensioner have broken. Can you recomm ... (cont.)
