As you can see by the picture, what I would call a cylinder nut broke off inside the door and the screw can no longer hold the handle in place. I was able to get the nut out but looking for a new one. No markings on the door of a brand.

Window is an old aluminum single hung window with spiral balances. However the top guides of the sliding portion of the window are broken and need to be replaced. The string in my Milgard window broke. From my online research the replacement would be a balancer replacement, block and tackle style. On the metal is stamped this information: 26 4 ew cmc 10. We open the window frequently during the summer months so I suspect I should replace both of the balancers ... (cont.)

Pictured handle has one prong broken off the replacement requires two prongs. The parts I have been able to find have a spacer holding my handle away from the door. Hi, I want to order window balance spring and want to know the correct size, product to order. The marking says UNIQUE 32-0-40

Allen Stevens Corp. Woodside, NY and in a circle pattern 60 with 49 under it

Size: 1/2 " X 25" I found 2440 BSI DA on one side of the channel balance.

Do these come in different model numbers or is it a standard size? Hopi g to order the correct part the first time!
